Her herb shop has been a place of healing and growth through natural medicines and remedies for 10 years.
So it seems only natural to add a haven for people who long for wholesome and pure food. Especially Vegetarians and Vegans.
A Wonderful Relationship With Plants
Kita began studying herbal medicine in 1983. She studied with several traditional Native American healers from 1987-1992, and completed a 500 hour Western Herbalism program in 1998 at the Southwest Institute Of Healing Arts.
Kita successfully owned and operated an herbal specialty franchise store in Phoenix from 2002 – 2006. In April 2006 she started her own company, Chakra 4 Herb & Tea House, an herbal store and vegetarian café.
Passing It On
Kita began teaching herbal medicine in 2000. She created a one year certificate program in herbal medicine. That program evolved into a 500 hour professional herbalist education program that she taught for several years.
Kita Centella is a charismatic, passionate herbalist with a deep love of herbal medicine. She creates an atmosphere of trust with her clients, gathering information through an in-depth interview process.
Kita is compassionate and intuitive, and helps you address your issues holistically, with a mind/body/spirit approach. Although her primary modality is Western Herbalism, she also incorporates flower essences, aromatherapy, astrology and numerology into her consultations and custom formulations, when appropriate.
Along with being a professional herbalist and business owner, Kita is an accomplished painter and musician. She lives in Phoenix, AZ.
